These are moments when real life got in the way, and someone was there to document the unscripted and unplanned.
As a wedding photographer in India, I have photographed weddings for close to a decade now. In these many years, I have had the pleasure to know some amazing souls, got to travel the length and breadth of the country to document the versatile Indian weddings, been published a bit, overheard some kind things — but honestly what does any of this really mean?
What remains important to me is that after these many years, I managed to love what I do now more than ever. I am presently a photographer juggling between advertising, documentary, and wedding photography.
While I photograph weddings, I look for moments that could tell a story, more often than not, made of simple moments, those spontaneous and real ones that will never fade away nor get old.
